Back in Dunedin at the Grandview B&B

My last two days in New Zealand, at the Grandview Bed and Breakfast. True to its name, it has a wonderful view of the harbor and downtown Dunedin. The friendly owners, Steve and Irene, graciously allowed me to use their computer to update this travel blog.

Baldwin Street is billed as the steepest street in the world. Picture Lombard Street in San Francisco without the curves. The street goes nearly straight up at a 35% angle. I walked to the top and back.

The Otago Museum in Dunedin had an interesting exhibit about Sir Edmund Hillary, who first climbed Mt Everest in 1953, along with interactive exhibits about Otago Peninsula wildlife, local Maori artifacts and culture, and New Zealand photographer Brian Brake
St Clair Beach has a salt water hot pool next to the ocean
