Planning my big trip to Peru and the Galapagos Islands

I'm in the process of planning a trip to Peru and the Galapagos Islands. So excited I can hardly see straight. This has been on my "bucket list" for a long time! I will spend part of the time with my brother Bill and his wife (and my longtime, dear friend) Maureen. I leave Atlanta on May 23, fly to Quito, Ecuador, then to the Galapagos Islands, 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador. A week later I fly to Cuzco (also spelled Cusco), Peru, and Machu Picchu, followed by a week volunteering at the Lamay Clinic in the Sacred Valley of Peru. After Bill and Maureen go home, I will continue my travels solo to see Lake Titicaca and other sights in Peru.
